I have been using a SONY STR-DN860 via HDMI for the audio connections from a Windows10 PC and the picture to my 4K Monitor using is sent via a Display Port cable. The DP connection is using 4:4:4 so I get a very good picture. I find HDMI sub standard, colour depth for DP is 10 bpc and HDMI 8 bpc. My AVR does not have DP connections. This works well for me but has some drawbacks. With HDMI and DP video from my GPU (AMD RX480) Windows thinks I have two screens (which is fine), I don't need a second screen so I clone the two video outputs (via Windows) and I can forget that. As DP is v1.2 it does not support HDCP 2.2, am waiting for DP v1.4 for a new monitor and GPU card which supports DP v1.4 but at present are very rare and expensive. I have also used Optical to AVR but obviously that has limitations. Not sure this helps you in any way but works for me for now. Netgear AX1800 RAX20 review Recently purchased from Amazon.co.uk The Netgear RAX20 is a WiFi 6 device. Supports Wireless 2.4GHz b/g/n/ax and 5GHz a/n/ac/ax. So far this router has proved to be very capable and has cured the problems I had using Virgin Media HUB3. It caters for most of the requirements of a typical home. We are heavy networking users with 2 people working from home, forever watching NETFLIX in 4K and football matches via SKY and BT Sports.
